WBO Cruiserweight Champion Marco “Captain” Huck (32-1, 23 KOs) has promised his fans another exciting title defence when he puts his belt on the line next month. On July 16, the hard-hitting 26-year-old will take on former world champion Hugo Hernan Garay (34-5, 8 KOs) at Munich´s Olympic Park “Garay is a fighter who marches forward all the time,” Huck said. “He is an uncomfortable opponent but I will be prepared for him. It is my wish to please my fans whenever I step through the ropes. My fights are very entertaining and fun to watch. The battle with Garay will be no different. He will be in big trouble. I´m too strong for him.”

Ever since dethroning Victor Emilio Ramirez in August 2009, Huck has made six successful defences. “It will be great to fight in Munich. I have been down there a lot of times, like for the Oktoberfest, and I´m sure the atmosphere will be fantastic when I give Garay a proper beating.”

The Argentinian is no stranger to German boxing fans, having defeated Jurgen Brahmer in Rostock in November 2008.
